The Bristol C40, C45, C50, C60 & C65's chassis was built by Bristol Tramways and Carriage Company Limited with bodies by Bristol and Sankey.  The C40+ was produced between 1908 and 1924.

There were various types of C40, C45, C50, C60 & C65's developed:

  Bus B16F, B20F, B20x, B22F, B23F, B24D, B24F, B24R, B25R, B27F, B28R, B29R, BxxD, Bxxx,  
Coach Ch22, Ch27, Ch28

They were powered by an Bristol AW 30hp 4 cylinder petrol engine.

There were 127 Bristol C40, C45, C50, C60 & C65's built. The C40, C45, C50, C60 & C65's were delivered to the following operators:
